Electro Rent Europe, headquartered in Belgium, Mechelen is currently seeking an experienced Computer Technician Field Services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include supporting our computer rental customers by processing and preparing equipment at our facility as well as traveling to locations required by our Customers. Most travel will be within the EU, however at times requests from our Customers for other locations may arise. Consequently, this position will require intermittent travel. In addition, processing of computer and other technology equipment is required. Processing could include: configuring computer hardware, software loads, warehousing functions to track assets with bar-code system, preparing shipments for freight carriers, as well as with and processing, our test & measurement assets. This position will report to our European General Manager but will also interface with United States locations. REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years or more of computer hardware experience
  • A+ Certification or equivalent experience
  • Preparing and engineering software loads (Ghost experience preferred)
  • Ability to travel, good driving record is absolutely required, must be insurable.
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime with little or no notice (evenings or weekends)
  • Assists with packaging, shipping and receiving, tracking of computer equipment
